We absolutely loved this place. Right at the harbour and in a pretty area.
The food was absolutely perfect.

We had a pizza and a pasta, and every dish we saw arrinving on the tables around us looked amazing.

We loved the waiters and they were charming took very good care of ever person in the restaurant, and made sure to give a person experience.

I came to Ischia from NYC on my first ever solo trip. I was lucky to meet the owner Pietro on my first night, and ended up dining here on both my first and last night of my four night stay. The staff is incredibly kind and attentive, the food is delicious, and the live music was such a nice surprise. The zucchini pasta was so fresh and the Margherita pizza was my favorite of my 3 week Italy trip. I can’t wait to go back to Ischia and will recommend Mezzanotte to everyone!

my experience was somewhat mixed. On the positive side, the location is lovely, with a nice atmosphere that makes for a pleasant evening out. The restaurant has a cozy setting that feels welcoming, and the staff were polite and courteous throughout my visit. Service was a little slow at times, but everyone I interacted with was kind and tried to make the evening comfortable.

The food itself was okay — nothing particularly bad, but also not the kind of meal that leaves a strong impression. Some dishes were nicely presented and tasted fresh, while others felt more average. It’s fair to say that the kitchen delivers solid, straightforward meals, but compared to the wide variety of excellent dining options on the island, it didn’t really stand out.

The part that I do feel is important to highlight is the dessert. Unfortunately, the desserts were a real disappointment. While the main courses were passable, the sweets simply did not meet expectations at all. They tasted poorly prepared and were far below the quality you would hope for in a restaurant. I would honestly recommend avoiding the dessert menu entirely, as it does not add to the experience and may leave you ending the meal on a negative note.

Overall, I would give this restaurant 3 stars. It’s not a bad choice if you are nearby and want a decent meal in a pleasant setting, but I would suggest skipping dessert and perhaps exploring other restaurants on the island if you’re looking for something memorable.

We came here for lunch and had the fresh sea bass, the owner brought both fishes to the table to choose and suggested on the wine to accompany the meal. We returned for an evening meal in which it was super busy but the staff still made you feel special. Great spot and one of the best restraunts on the port

Only one word - perfect. First you will be welcomed with cup of prosecco. The staf is so pretty, helpful and friendly. You are like at home. I haven't eaten more fresh and tasty mix of fish. Salad we ordered was fresh and tasty too. At the end my wife try ice cream and once again - top one. Atmosphere is wonderful. Highly recommend to be visited.

Fantastic - the staff where I was staying on the island recommended I visit, and I was greeted by the kind and good humoured Pietro. He (and all the staff) were friendly and helpful. Most importantly, the food was exceptional and reasonable value for money.

The pudding - the croscatina - was as good as else I ate during my stay. I'd go back just to eat it again.

Very nice Restaurant, delicious food and great location with view of the water and boats (located by the Port), first time in Ischia and found this great place; one of the best I had in Italy, fresh delicious seafood. Will definitely recommend.

Good selection (for Ischia) for coeliacs, with two types of pasta and many other dishes.
Some other unusual and tasty gluten options like prawns breaded in sesame and pistachio nuts, or gnocchi with small rabbit bites.
Lively waterfront with many restaurants and people to watch. High tide partially flooded the quay and almost reached our table!
