I was lucky enough to dine at “la cucina del Brigante” on the night I spent in Crosia. My partner and I ordered some locals starters and first courses(the pasta was fresh and home made) everything was amazing and beautifully presented. The staff a d the owner were extremely cordial and the atmosphere was what you’d expect from a picturesque village like Crosia. We then order the main course a 1.3 kg of ribeye steak which they age themselves in their meat fridge exposed in the dining room.
The meat was chat grilled right outside the restaurant. The smell was amazing and the meat was tasty and tender.
We then finished our meal with their Hazelnut truffle of Pizzo, safe to say that the dessert didn’t disappoint .
The coffee was really nice too.
Note on margin, I used the toilet there and not in my entire life I found a toilet so clean. They say that they toilet is the mirror of the restaurant, therefore “la cucina del Brigante is pristine. Highly recommended!

Amazing food and great atmosphere in a truly magical place that is Crosia. Everything I tried here was just phenomenal. I went to Calabria on a food trip to visit different places but this is my favourite so far.
