Wow. Amazing food on every level. Wines to die for. Atmosphere like no other place I’ve been to in a long time. Was greeted by some cut meats with, bread and amazing olive oil. The tartar was the best I’ve ever tried - it came with truffle and finely sliced Parma cheese. The pasta was exceptional and the steaks perfectly tender and cooked. Ate way too much, but this was just soooo good. And if you’re going for the perfect experience, try the Amarone which is €50 but represents good value for money ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

As you can tell by the number of stars given, the food, atmosphere and service were all great. We were in three, with me being the only vegetarian, yet we all ate from the various vegetarian options, even though the meat dishes they prepared looked incredible and they evidently specialised in that area. Such an accommodating atmosphere is a pleasant and refreshing experience for me, as you don't get that everywhere. I was also very impressed by the presentation of the food. There was a lot of care and attention in each plate which were then carried to the table, often by the chef himself, with a pleasent smile of pride and pleasure. The staff were friendly, attentive and interested, and were also able to speak English. We shall be returning for more!

Cozy little restaurant offering fairly priced meals. Service slows down when place becomes busy, so don't expect your meal to be served in 15 min. Even though they claim to serve local cuisine, the 2nd course entrees are burger, roast beef and a tomahawk steak. I've tried the grilled chicken and it was good. Portions are generous. Good local sparkling red wine.

We payd for an antipasto, rise with mushrooms, and 1 kl of costata with a bottle of Gutturnio wine 153 euro! 92 euro of meat in a location and with a service that is not in order with the price! You could go at the same price eating in a star Michelin restaurant in Italy! We will never go back again and warning others to this kind of restaurant 🍴in our territory ! Style very old in the time, in the the trend and in the service. A pity!

If you have no reason to visit Bobbio, come here for Il Barone! I was here for a short business trip. Flying all the way from Singapore, it was my first time in Italy. The steak is perfect. Cooked spot on, it's tender, juicy and served with the best sides. The only thing that would stand out more than the food would be the service. The gentleman who runs the place is warm and makes you feel at home. The ambience is great, quaint and idyllic across the main square. Five stars!

Find this restaurant by accident! We just walk 30 meters up from the main street in Bobbio and find this fantastic place. It turned out to be the best place we visit during our stay in Italy.
Very friendly and professional service and fantastic food. Got a glas of spumante and a appetizer (för free) direct when we sat down. Both pasta and meat were delicious. And not to forget, fantastic barriqued grappa.
Bobbio is sure also worth a visit and I will sure come back here!
