Ragazzi, il proprietario è uno spasso. Se vi va una bella chiacchierata mentre state cercando un po' di taralli, pasta, olio eccetera, andate là. Soprattutto, se non conoscete nessuno, vi metterà in contatto con un po' di gente che è qua a Bloomington. Buona selezione di formaggi.

So this place is awesome.
Sometimes it’s about the place and sometimes it’s about the guy.
As delicious the sandwiches (ManyMeats, extra pesto, and I’m hungry - order just like that) or the imported foods are, this place is about the man. Habibi. Such a great guy with great stories. He has No problem telling you how and what to cook.
Come for the food, stay for the show.

The Many Meat sandwich was absolutely delicious. From the quality, melt in your mouth meats, to the pesto and balsamic spread, the chewy roll, the attention to detail of the chef. The entire market is truly an experience. I won't go into detail, but it's the best food experience I've had in a long while. You have to go, but don't be in a rush.

Is it possible to give less than one star? I walked into the store knowing what I wanted, and walked right to that section. The store REEKED of spoiled food. I grabbed my items and went to the counter. The guy started talking to me like I had no idea what I was doing and started to show me a video on his ipad. I was in a hurry, so I was just trying to pay and leave, but he ushered me to the back of the store. When I saw the food prep area, I wondered if the health department has ever been there. He tried to make me taste a tomato sauce that was uncovered and unrefrigerated, and when I declined, he said that she wasn’t going to sell me anything. All of the cans I touched had dents in them (violation), one of the fridge doors was wide open for who knows how long (violation), all of the food that I looked at was expired (violation). There are other, cleaner international stores in Bloomington with respectful staff. Please don’t waste your time and money going to this dump.

Amazing food! Had both the meat and veggie sandwiches and the cannoli...so good. The lady working was very sweet as well. They also have a huge selection of unique food in the grocery. Hidden gem.

Excellent veggie sandwich. The pesto and mozzarella cheese is the best. The meat sandwich was stacked so tall we shared it. It transported me straight to Italy!

Forget about all the amazing 10/10 food you can get at this place. The owner of this market is an absolute gem. Got two sandwiches and ended up talking to the guy for an hour, absolute class act with a phenomenal sense of humor. Strongly suggest taking a trip here and checking out the store!!
