Dinner here is a real experience. We have been here several times and it is always phenomenal. You are welcomed with a glass of prosecco and then you can choose from the menu, or ask the waiter about their specials. We have not ordered from the menu, but put our trust in the chef to make us delicious and creative food. The porcini menu was our favorite, but the sea tasting was also amazing. The pastas for two are served in a large saute pan and plated at the table (we had the aragosta) and it was perfectly cooked! Dining here is more than just a dinner, it is truly special. Be sure to make a reservation in advance as they are popular! The outdoor garden is beautiful for dining in the warmer months.

You MUST try the raw fish starter. It is the best thing I have ever tried in my life. They are exceptionally friendly, lovely restaurant, but the food is to die for.

Unfortunately this was the worst meal we had in Italy. Recommended here as a place that was close to our BnB. First course was a mix of what seemed like frozen food that had been microwaved. Wine was sweet and tasted turned. Our grilled vegetables were dry pieces of rubber that were not even fully grilled. Ordered the steak with arugula and Parmesan — arugula was wilted and Parmesan was from a container. Wife had the shrimp pesto pasta which was essentially inedible. The pesto tasted like old broccoli and the shrimp were white. We’re confused to the popularity of this place, but though we rarely post reviews, we felt a need to flag our bad experience to potentially avoid others having the same.

In person the restaurant decor is more pleasing, we sat outside on a balmy night served by a Lindsey Buckingham's lookalike, we love Fleetwood Mac! I ordered a deep Pan langoustine dish that sat in it's own juices with added pasta, it was so delicious I was craving it again the next day. My partner ordered a perfectly cooked fresh Swordfish. We ordered a house white the first visit which was very affordable & quaffable. As we were so impressed we returned a couple of days later to order a smorgasbord of raw fish which we found truly delicious this time accompanied by a delicious bottle of local Verdeca. Appetising and unpretentious, we will most definitely be back!
