The meat dishes were very tasty, they are freshly prepared on the grill, but it is better to choose something else instead of a cooked green side dish. value/price was ok and fast service!
there was a bit of chaos in the evening, they packed the tables over our heads and shouted over us.

If fate conspires to deliver you to Comunanza, you'll not be shocked to see that restaurants are thin on the ground.

We approached Da Roverino with some trepidation as a result, because it looked like the only show in town. It was a relief then to find that the fare was very respectable indeed. The dining area is just beyond the hotel bar/check in and the kitchen an open fire pit for grilling, so meat is a strong focus. There wasn't a menu (usually a cause for worry), so the options are delivered machine-gun fashion in competent if idiosyncratic English. That included a raw mushroom, rocket & parmesan antipasti which I was skeptical of, but was one of the best starters we had on our trip.

Pasta seemed to consist of ravioli options only, but something may have got lost in translation. Service was good, but I can understand it slowing down when it gets busy. It's a popular choice with the locals, and did fill up as the evening wore on. Without a menu, there is always some worry when you rock up to pay the bill, but the pricing was very fair. Definitely nice to have your expectations exceeded, and as the main local haunt they are obliged to keep their standards up.

We stayed here in the apartments across the street from the main hotel, rooms very spacious and clean. The restaurant serves a selection of seasonal traditional food which is very good. The owner Pepe speaks good English and is very accommodating.

The best times of this place have gone, it looks like in the past it was a great Ville and a great Hotel, my first approach was hard because I arrived on Sunday and the hotel was closed but the owner Mr Roverino was waitting for me and since the very first second there I begin to love Italy, you will find in Da Roverino the most warm and dedicated person which is the owner of the place; the room was enough for the stay, the shower has few space and I needed to ask for a fan but everything was compensated with the way that I have been treated, the restaurant have been one of the best in Italy I ever tasted and, in the dinner, is the place to be, great food, great service; Comunanza is a very small town so Da Roverino is close to everything, there is a supermarket very close also; I feel in home there...

We spent one night here on a journey through Italy re-tracing a route that my father had walked in the war when he was an escaped Prisoner of War. He spent several months in Comunanza with a farming family. Within two hours of arriving Bepe helped us find the family and the site of the old farm (now a Leisure Centre). He hosted an unplanned and tearful reunion with family members who remembered my father and we can't thank him enough for his help and friendship. We found the hotel had everything we needed and Bepe served us lunch on our arrival even though the restaurant had closed. He is an excellent host and we were sad to leave the following morning.

Rooms are simple but there's everything you need. The owner is kind and very professional, he also manages the restaurant in the structure, providing awesome food for every taste. Best choice in Comunanza

I was a few days in Comunanza staing in Roverino hotel. Very nice stay with an excellent restourant!||The room is very ok. The only doubt is related to the bathroom which is not as good as the rest of the hotel services and facilities...
