We made our reservation at the very last minute while looking for a place to stay overnight — and were pleasantly surprised by how cozy and welcoming this place was!

Breakfast was excellent — delicious, with a wide variety to choose from. The location is beautiful and scenic, with a lovely view from the room. The rooms themselves are spacious, thoughtfully designed, and full of historic charm.

The staff were very kind, friendly, and helpful — overall, a wonderful stay that exceeded our expectations!

We chose this hotel based on the excellent reviews, especially the praise for the restaurant and the breakfast. We arrived around 8 PM after a long journey, planning to continue on the next day. Unfortunately, upon check-in, we were informed by the receptionist that the hotel was experiencing technical issues — the restaurant was not operating and there was no hot water. It would have been helpful to be informed of this in advance, either by phone or email.

We were still looking forward to the breakfast, which was described in reviews as absolutely exceptional. Sadly, it did not meet our expectations — the ham and vegetables seemed dried out, and the biggest disappointment were the juices. There were two kinds, but neither tasted good, and they seemed to be among the cheapest options, with a strong artificial sweetener taste.

On the positive side, the hotel itself is beautiful, the surroundings are wonderful, and the price for the stay was very reasonable. We truly believe the hotel has great potential, and with better communication and improvements to the breakfast offering, the overall experience could be significantly better.

I had an extremely disappointing experience at this hotel. One evening, due to a power outage, we were locked outside for almost an hour. The hotel had lost their physical key, which made the situation even worse. In the end, we had no choice but to climb through a window just to get back inside and change our travel plans.

The hotel staff’s response was completely unacceptable. Instead of taking responsibility, they brushed it off, said “sorry” without any sincerity, and insisted it wasn’t their fault. There was no genuine apology, no compensation, and no effort to make things right.

This level of irresponsibility and poor service is shocking. I strongly advise against staying here. There are plenty of other hotels where guests are treated with basic respect and safety. Avoid this place at all costs.

Last minute booking with a very pleasant stay.
Staff is welcoming, professional and they understood what they were doing!!!!
Nice wine card, and even though the cuisine was closed, the guys behind the bar did put together a meat plate for us!

What a wonderful place to stay! The staff was awesome and so very helpful. We felt like we were staying in their home. The rooms were beautiful, clean, large and a pleasure. The scenery is serene. The food was unbeatable. Breakfast was to order and everyone there went out of their way to help. I can not say enough about this resort. We can not wait to go back someday and stay a bit longer.|Our best stay in Italy was here for sure!

Well, what should I say is that is a small-friendly resort, nice pool but the rooms… they need a little bit of modernization. The rest is fine.

Amazing location, very good food and in the beginning also very friendly staff…

But… if you come here for your rest - as we did - be aware of very loud parties until
midnight…

The worst thing is that - when we said we wanted some rest - the staff completely changed its behavior from very friendly to very rude.

And they even took away the coffee machine just to bully us. It wasn’t broken (as they said) and when we asked to check it they said it was already sent for repair..

So really sad we booked here. It looked so nice, based on all the reviews we saw
